Women’s Best? I don’t think so. Enjoy the difference? Definitely! I’m only not sure it’s a positive difference, as this bar is far from being tasty or satisfying.
I don’t know why, but reviewing poor protein treats is what I love. And as there are many mediocre protein snacks out there, like Fulfil Lemon Zinger protein bar or Oppo CoppaFeel! Raspberry Nipple protein ice cream, it sounds like an exciting thing to do. And it is! Also, I really like telling the truth, telling how it is in fact, with all those protein treats, without beating about the bush. That’s why we always write HONEST REVIEWS. Anyway, let’s have an honest look at this Women’s Best Protein Bar 34% Protein Coconut Crunch Flavour.
Contrary to other Women’s Best protein bars, Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch and Strawberry Crunch, this bar smells lovely. There’s strong and pleasant, effortlessly detectable fragrant of coconut. And it makes this bar appealing and inviting. At least as long as you like that flavour. Anyway, a really tough on the outside, this protein bar is somewhat softish on the inside. It’s not extremely comfortable to bite into or eat, but you shouldn’t struggle with it either. A slightly chewy bar is also a bit sticky, crunchy and dryish. So be prepared to have a sip while eating it.
A coconut flavour with strange aroma and aftertaste.
This Women’s Best protein bar should taste not too bad for many. Eventually, there is a huge group of 8 or 9 fans of coconut flavour in the whole UK. But it’s not. Yes, there’s coconut flavour in it. But there’s also a weird aroma too. It’s something similar to a bitterish but also to a mint flavour. And it’s nothing pleasant. Actually, it makes this protein bar not too tasty or desirable. Also, this snack is not too sweet or satisfying. Therefore, I deduct 0.5 pt in this department. Therefore, there can be only one way to describe the experience of the taste of this bar. And it goes like that (see below).
Do I want another serving of this Women’s Best Coconut Crunch Flavour after the first one? Not at all. It’s not even too tasty. And it makes it enough for a single experience.
What I really loved in this protein bar, however, is its macros. It’s powerful. A 44g bar has only 159 kcal, 6.8g of fat, 4.1g(!) of carbs (including
This misunderstanding is enough reason to say it out loud: it can’t be the finest protein bar on the go. Period.
Good smell. Great macros. And poor taste. What a combo!
This Women’s Best Protein Bar 34% Protein Coconut Crunch Flavour is a strange bar. It smells lovely, but it tastes ugly. There are incredible macros, but inferior ingredients. And it says Women’s Best, but I feel like I don’t want to come back to it. And the overall experience out of it is like ‘phew, it’s done, I ate it’. Well, it doesn’t sound like anything ‘best’, does it?
Will I ever go back to this protein bar? No chances for that. For many, many reasons.
