I tried to do my best but Sinister Lab still doesn’t make it easier. Their another protein Cookie, Peanut Butter one, is a pretty ordinary one. The same like this review I have no idea for.
We have recently contacted Sinister Lab on Instagram and they convinced us to review their other protein cookies. All of that, because Birthday Cake flavour one scored 4.9/10 pts of which none of us was happy. And another one, Chocolate Chip, that turned out to be a bit better. And I guess I don’t have to tell you it’s not the best score on the scale, right? Therefore, I tried to do my best to make it right this time but I failed. This Sinfit Protein Cookie Peanut Butter scored basically the same. Is it a coincidence?
While unwrapping it, Kaz said it smells like paint. But I’m not too sure about that. More than that it feels bitterish, like whey protein or something. Besides that, there is a peanut aroma detectable too. However, overall experience right after unwrapping it I would describe as far from being lovely. Anyway, a really tough on the outside, this protein cookie is somewhat softish inside. Therefore, no problem with biting into it. This cookie, however, is decently chewy and sticky to the teeth. Also, it’s pretty thick. But at the end of the day, I wouldn’t say it was difficult either effortless to eat. It was just OK in this matter.
This protein cookie is honestly sweet. It seems it tastes like peanut butter, but it’s more like peanuts alone.
What is missing here is that subtle saltiness of peanut butter. Instead of that, we’ve got chopped peanuts on the top of this cookie that happily crunches between teeth. And a peanut butter icing that I wasn’t able to detect too much. But chances are it added a bit to the overall sweetness of this cookie. Oh, and after you ate the entire cookie and you think it was sweet and satisfying, then a bitterish aftertaste appears. And that makes this cookie not satisfying one.
Do I want another serving of this Sinfit Protein Cookie Peanut Butter after the first one? Not at all. And that’s it I can say here. But it’s not the rule when it comes to Sinfit protein cookies, surprisingly.
The macros of this cookie are in an American style. A 78g cookie has a huge 310 kcal, 12g of fat, 25g of carbs (including 7g of sugar) and an average 20g of protein. The ingredients list contain added sugar and palm oil. Could it be better? Definitely, it could.
Therefore, no chance for a title of ‘sustainable protein cookie on the go’.
Let’s burry this
Sinfit six feet under ground.

Will I ever go back to this protein cookie? I’m not sure about it. So most likely I won’t. And even Sinfit protein bar of this flavour may not change that.
