It’s tough to
fell in love with Quest protein snacks after these all not too tasty protein bars from them. But this protein cookie proves that not everything’s lost for Quest. And if you like spice-flavourish cookies, then you have to give this one a go.
After all those not too tasty, alcohol-flavoured protein bars from Quest I was a bit woeful. So well known, a famous brand giving so bad experience with their protein bars… And I was afraid it might be the same with their protein cookie. But, to my surprise, this Quest Protein Cookie Oatmeal Raisin Flavoured one turned out to be a pretty delicious one. And this is why I think so.
This protein cookie welcomes with an all-spiced aroma with a touch of raisins. It’s deep, it’s rich, and it’s tempting. Especially if all-spice is your kind of snacks. Its fragrance resembles an all-spiced cake. Yummy! A pretty softish on the outside, this protein cookie is alike on the inside. This means one thing – there’s no problem with biting into it. Also, it’s comfortable to eat, as it’s hardly chewy and barely sticky. On top of that its moistness in on the spot. As a result of that, this cookie is delightful right from the very beginning.
A little bit of heaven for all-spice cake lovers.
This Quest protein cookie tastes nice. It’s a deep and flavourish combination of spices and raisins. Also, it’s sweet, but not too sweet. Furthermore, there’s no weird aroma of aftertaste. And if you wanted to find even a touch of bitterness here, I’d say the spice flavour craftily covers it. So no worries, no any issue in this matter. As a result of that, this cookie is delicious, sweet on the spot and satisfying. Well done, Quest.
Do I want another serving of this Quest protein cookie after the first one? Sure! I’d be able to eat another cookie of this flavour right after the first one. Yummy! (Yes, all-spiced cakes are my cup of tea.)
Even if I had another cookie of this cookie right after the first one, I think I would be able to fit it in my macros somehow. A single cookie of 63g has 250 kcal, a slightly largish 14g of fat, 25g of carbs (including only 3g of sugar) and an OK-ish 15g of protein. Not too bad, but I can see some room for improvement here. The ingredients list contains palm oil and this is the only thing I didn’t like here.
And these two things, macros and ingredients list, are the only reasons it can’t be the finest protein cookie on the go.
A surprisingly tasty protein cookie from Quest. For all-spiced cakes lovers (and not only for them).
This Quest Protein Cookie Oatmeal Raisin Flavoured is well worth to give it a try. It smells lovely, it’s charming tasty and comfortable to eat. And I think you could eat two of them in one sitting easily. The only thing I didn’t like here was its ingredients (palm oil). And its macros could be slightly better.
Will I ever go back to this Quest protein cookie? There are high chances for that! It’s tasty, it’s delicious and it’s my kind of flavour. However, when it comes to the taste, it may be a tough decision to chose between this one and Sinfit Pumpkin Spice Protein Cookie. Or maybe I should have both of them?
