A Cookies & Cream flavour protein bar with cookie dough cookie on the packaging? Sounds interesting! Hopefully, it’s not misleading information.
Protein bars makers are sometimes doing things that consumers don’t like too much. You know, they use some tricks to make their products more attractive than they’re in reality. And that’s what we’ve got here. A cookie dough cookie on the packaging that says it’s a cookies & cream flavoured protein bar. Is it for a purpose? Or is it just a typo? Let’s have a closer look at NEW maxi muscle Promax Lean Protein Bar Cookies & Cream flavour to find it out.
Oh, dear! This protein bar smells like crazy! Cookies & Cream fragrance are sweet, strong and it seems to scream ‘eat me!’. And I’m going to do that pretty soon! A pretty soft on the outside, this bar is only softish inside. This means it could be a bit more comfortable to eat. A somewhat chewy snack is also barely sticky. And it’s not too dryish, as there are chances you’ll be able to eat it pretty effortless. Nice.
Cookies & Cream. And a bit of Cookie Dough.
This is a bit weird, but there are two different flavours in this protein bar. There’s Cookies & Cream aroma, that is pretty easily detectable and not too bad. And there’s also Cookie Dough cookie flavour in it too. It’s a crazy combination of flavours, but… it’s not that bad. However, this is not what I was supposed to get here. And it makes some mess in the flavour of this bar. Anyway, it’s decently sweet and satisfying. And there’s no weird aroma or aftertaste. Interesting.
Do I want another serving of this maxi muscle Cookies & Cream protein bar after the first one? It was so close. On a par with its Cookies & Cream flavour. Therefore, I’m OK with just one serving of it.
Macro wise, it’s pretty good. A 55g bar has only 184 kcal, 5.6g of fat, 13.7g of carbs (including
Palm oil is enough reason to say it’s not the finest protein bar on the go.
Cookies & Cream. And Cookie Dough. And that’s too much a bit.
This NEW maxi muscle Promax Lean Protein Bar Cookies & Cream flavour is funny. It has two different flavours in itself. And it’s not too good. Eventually, I was supposed to get a specific flavour, not two of them. But what’s surprising, this bar scored a really good 7/10 pts. Interesting.
Will I ever go back to this maxi muscle protein bar? I’m not too sure about it. If I ever want two different flavours at once, then who knows? Otherwise, I’ll stick to the one-flavoured protein bars. Like another pretty good one from this range, Salted Caramel flavour.
