Slow down, mate. Don’t eat this Morrisons ice cream too fast, as it unveils its real taste while it’s more softish than frozen. Otherwise, it tastes more like coffee ice cream.
This is another affordable ice cream from Morrisons. This time in Peanut Butter taste. And as it’s not that bad after all, this is not the tastiest cheap protein ice cream on the market. This title belongs to ASDA Cookie Dough Ice Cream for now. But is Morrisons’ that much worse? Let’s have a look at it closely, as it’s definitely something you should give a try.
It’s the same story. This is rock hard ice cream after pulling it out of the freezer. And our advice is: slow down, calm down, give it some time to defrost. Otherwise, you’ll taste a ‘slightly’ different flavour than on its package. What exactly? Not even close to peanut butter, as…
While frozen, this ice cream tastes like coffee ice cream. Seriously.
It’s strange, but that’s what it’s like in fact. So relax and let it cool down a bit. This will let you indulge not bad peanut butter taste. It’s not, however, as intense as peanut butter is. Rather than that, it’s like powdered peanut butter that was dissolved in too much water. In other words, it’s a bit watery but still pleasant. And not too sweet. Also, the good thing is there’s no weird or whey-like aroma or aftertaste. Not bad.
I ate half a tube of this Morrisons Ice Cream. And then finished the other half. And I guess that’s it. It was pretty tasty as ice cream. But I wouldn’t eat more of them. That would be too much.
Keep calm and give it some time.
Morrisons Peanut Butter Protein Ice Cream is another affordable protein ice cream we review. And considering its price of £2.50 it’s pretty OK. It’s not too sweet or flavourish, but they may be in many people liking. Macros and ingredients are also acceptable. And the overall experience is so good I ate an entire tub.
Will I ever go back to this protein bar then? Chances are, as it’s not that bad. It’s cheap, it’s somewhat tasty and it’s ice cream. And sometimes these arguments are enough to give it a try now and then.
