If you want Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake flavour protein bar, then this is the one. It’s tasty, it’s sweet and it’s satisfying. Too bad it has palm oil in its ingredients.
Crunch Warrior protein bars, unlike PhD SmartBars, can’t keep the high standard. Some of them, like White Chocolate Crisp, are decently good. Actually really good. But on the other hand, Salted Caramel one is only good. Or even barely good. So where this Crunch Warrior protein bar with so appetising Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake flavour lands? Somewhere in between of these both. It’s good. It’s pretty good. But I can see some aspects in which it could be much better.
For example, in its smell. This one is a composition of Raspberry and Lemon Cheesecake scents with the addition of easily detectable bitter aroma. It doesn’t make this protein bar too exciting or inviting, but still, it’s not repellent either. A pretty toughish (and prone to cracking in its base) on the outside, this protein bar is somewhat softish on the inside. As a result of that, it’s pretty OK to bite into it. And although is slightly chewy and slightly sticky, it’s still pretty effortless to eat. Also, I couldn’t say anything wrong about its moistness; it’s simply OK.
Sweet and satisfying taste. Despite the slightly bitterish aroma in it.
This Crunch Warrior protein bar tastes excellent (opposite to this one of the same maker, same theme flavour). The theme flavour, Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake is easily noticeable. However, there’s a bit of bitterness in it too. Is it bad? I wouldn’t say so, as it’s here more to overcome the overall sweetness of this bar, not to make a mess in its taste. Therefore, it doesn’t cause any damage to the flavour of this protein bar. That combination of flavours makes this bar decently sweet, but not oversweet. Also, surely a satisfying one. Nice.
I quickly ate the entire Crunch Warrior Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake protein bar. And the question is: would I be able to eat another serving of it straight away? Well, without any problem, actually. So this is a sign this bar is decently tasty indeed.
The macros of this protein bar are very similar to the macros of PhD SmartBars. A 64 bar has 243 kcal, 11g of fat, 24g of carbs (of which only 2.1g of sugar) and 20g of protein. It’s not exceedingly lean, but still pretty good. However, the ingredients list contains palm oil and it’s not too good.
Palm oil in the ingredients list means it can’t be the finest protein bar on the go. And it’s not.
retty tasty Cheesecake in the form of a protein bar.
Crunch Warrior Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake Protein Bar is a decently tasty protein snack. It doesn’t smell too attractive, but at the same time, it’s undoubtedly delicious, sweet and satisfying. And as it weighs 64g, it’s not difficult to fell in love with it and eat more than one serving in one sitting. You were warned.
Will I ever go back to this Warrior Crunch protein bar? Although it contains palm oil, there’s a chance for that. It might be not my first of the second choice (I can’t see myself rushing at it in the store), but eventually, it may land in my shopping basket from time to time.
