Oh yes! This is Madness. This protein cookie is real madness. And I had a problem with eating the entire serving of it. Well, all of that just for you. And this is what I had to go through to make this review happen. You’re welcome.
It’s not too easy to make a good protein cookie. Many have tried and many got lost in it. Like Weider with its All American Cookie Dough or Oatein with its Chocolate Chip Cookie. Or Sinister Labs with its two cookies. And although this Cookies Madness Banana Chunky Monkey Protein Cookie is a pretty interesting one (or two), it’s not too good. And eventually, it scored really, really low. Why so? Here’s the answer. And it’s going to be mad. Really mad.
This protein cookie doesn’t smell good. Its fragrance is like a combination of a stale cookie with some kind of bitterness in it. It’s pretty hard to describe it, but I’m sure you know what I mean. Well, it’s nearly repulsive. And those with a sensitive smell may not be too happy what they’ll get here. A somewhat toughish on the outside, this protein cookie is pretty soft inside. It means no problem with biting into it. Also, it’s not chewy at all, but it’s decently sticky. Also, its texture may seem to be similar to a slightly wet clay. But, what’s really surprising, it’s decently dry. Therefore, the eating experience is pretty low here.
This flavour is a madness. Crazy madness. And it’s nothing positive here.
This protein cookie tastes like a cookie that was left outside the airtight container for too long. And it’s damp. Add to that a pecan aroma and a bit more, actually much more of bitter anything and… this is the flavour of this Madness Cookie. Well, it’s not too pleasant. It’s not too tasty. It’s not even sweetish, not telling satisfying. All we get here is a cookie that you’d have to be pretty mad to eat the whole serving of it.
And this is going to be not so easy, as one serving means two medium-sized cookies of 54g each. I ate one of them and it was so bad I refused to eat another one. And I really had to fight with myself to do that for you. I did it, but now I don’t feel good with that. Anyway, one cookie, I mean half the serving, was enough for me.
Let’s have a quick look at the ingredients of these cookies. A single serving of two cookies (108g) delivers a pretty largish 326 kcal, 10.45g of fat, a massive 40.59g of carbs (including 10.97g of sugar) and OK-ish 17.31g of protein. Not too good. The ingredients list consist of added sugar and this is the only ingredient I didn’t like here.
Anyway, considering all of that above it surely can’t be the finest protein cookie on the go. And it’s definitely not.
This is Madness (Cookie). For mad people.
Cookie Madness Banana Chunky Monkey Protein Cookie is a bad cookie. Or cookies, as one serving means two cookies in a single pack. It doesn’t smell good, it definitely doesn’t taste good, it’s dry and it has poor macros. And the only good thing here is the fact there are two medium-sized cookies in one serving, so you can easily halve your lousy experience here.
Will I ever go back to this Cookie madness? No way! I won’t. And I’ll tell my friends to stay away from it, too. And, for your own sake, you should do the same. Period. And I say period for sure.
